Abstract

Parliamentary oversight of the security sector in the Republic of Serbia exists in legal and institutional terms but not as an everyday element of democracy due to such factors as lack of political will, inadequate expertise, and the rarity with which the Committee on Defense and Security exercises its authority. © 2013 M.E.
