Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. The aim of this systematic review is to investigate the direct and indirect evidence regarding the benefits and harms of bisphosphonates in the primary and secondary prevention of osteoporotic fractures for postmenopausal women. We will perform a network meta-analysis, which will estimate the relative effects and relative ranking of the competing interventions for the outcomes of interest.
