Abstract

We present a Virtual Reality (VR) game that uses haptic feedback gloves VMG-30 Plus as the input device, which allows users to interact with the virtual environment through arm movements. In addition to increasing the user’s sense of immersion, games such as this would have the secondary benefits of promoting physical activity, as well as being an alternate form of entertainment. We also present a game mechanics developer framework allowing game developers to add glove technologies such as VMG-30 Plus to their games.
