The isolation of a bacterium, identified as Pseudomonas sp., from the marine sponge Ircinia muscarum is reported. This bacterium was cultivated successfully and from the n-butanol ext. of the culture, after removal of the bacteria, was isolated a new cyclic tetrapeptide (I). [on SciFinder(R)]
