This research study evaluates the usability of a mobile graphing calculator application called GeoGebra. Therefore, investigations were conducted using eye tracking and a system usability scale questionnaire. The data obtained was utilized to evaluate effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction in using the smartphone application of GeoGebra (version Spring 2017). The results revealed several usability issues that faced users while using the mobile application. Based on these findings, suggestions for an improved user interface and interaction design are given. These suggested improvements should help to increase educational impact of mobile graphing calculator applications in school practices.
