Abstract

We verify whether the optimal pairs of coupling functions and spike-timing-dependent plasticity (STDP) window functions for executing the auto-associative memory algorithm derived from the viewpoint of hardware implementation are identical to those derived from the computational viewpoint by Lengyel et al. (2005). With a zero noise limit, we obtained the same relation between the coupling function and the STDP window function as that which Lengyel et al. obtained. © Springer-Verlag 2013.
