Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to show how the Enterprise SPICE model [1, 2] can be used to help very small entities (VSEs). The Enterprise SPICE model is a comprehensive integrated model intended for use in any domain, or in an enterprise of any size, including VSEs. The preponderance and importance of VSEs is described as well as challenges and issues they face. Examples of common VSE situations are provided and some case studies are presented where Enterprise SPICE can be helpful for VSEs.
