Abstract

Petri plates, micropipette, sterilized L-shaped glass spreader, microtips, cork borer and filter paper, test pathogenic microorganisms, syringe filter Bunsen burner, 70% ethanol, sterilized cotton, ruler, permanent marker, water blank (10 ml distilled water and 2–3 drops of Tween 20 are mixed and autoclaved in screw cap tubes), Sabouraud dextrose agar (SDA) and SD broth, pH -7, glucose tryptone yeast extract broth, standard antibiotic disk/stock solution (e.g., penicillin 25 unit, 50 units, 100 units, 200 units, etc.), sterilized forceps.
