Extensive fueros, or municipal customs and usages are small ius proprium medieval codes containing a microsystem of compulsory and punishing legal rules, issued to guarantee justice and safety within a determined neighborhood. Its compilation was fostered or at least prompted during the 13th and 14th centuries due to the rising of the new general legal order of the ius commune.
