Abstract

Question Classification (QC) System for Health Care domain is a specific component of Health Care Question Answering System (QAS). A Question Classification System implementation is usually a computer program that may find its answer type of the question by input the question. The QC system for Health Care domain is very important role in medical field. The Experiment on 427 health questions collected from many different web sites. We have used 9 type of health questions like what, when, how, how many, who, which, why, how much, where, when i.e. that we have get after question preprocessing. After preprocessing we have create question classifier and the experimental result overall accuracy of our system is achieved 80.79% accuracy. Future work has also been discussed as proposed system can be designed a healthcare based question answering system and as the targeted system mismatched in giving answers type and some fruitful efforts will be made so that this drawback of the proposed system can be resolve.
