Hubungan Tingkat Kecemasan dengan Kualitas Hidup Lansia Penderita Hipertensi di Desa Luwang Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Gatak

Abstract

ABSTRACT In the elderly experience conditions that are susceptible to several diseases because at this age there is a decrease in physical condition so that there is also reduced resistance in the body. Most elderly people often develop problems with degenerative diseases such as hypertension. This is due to peripheral blood vessel disorders and decreased blood vessels that cause increased blood pressure. Hypertension is more often found in the elderly where at their age there are physiological and psychological changes, which are risky for their health. One of the psychological changes that occur is anxiety, anxiety about complications from hypertension can have an impact on the quality of life of elderly people with hypertension. The lower the level of anxiety in the elderly, the better the quality of life. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety levels and the quality of life of elderly people with hypertension in Luwang Village, the working area of the Gatak Health Center. Type of quantitative research using correlational design. Sampling in this study with Total Sampling Technique as many as 37 elderly people with hypertension.  The results of the study were obtained from 37 respondents as many as 4 people had a good quality of life caused by mild anxiety, and 28 people caused by moderate anxiety.  The results of cross-tabulation are that there is a relationship between the level of anxiety and the quality of life of elderly people with hypertension in Luwang Village, the Gatak Health Center work area with the Pearson Chi Square Test value obtained .000 results where the value is <0.05. This can be interpreted as anxiety can affect the quality of life of elderly people with hypertension. The heavier the level of anxiety, the worse the quality of life of the elderly and vice versa. Keywords: Elderly, Hypertension, Anxiety Level, Quality of Life  ABSTRAK Pada lansia mengalami kondisi yang rentan terhadap beberapa penyakit karena pada usia ini terjadi penurunan kondisi fisik sehingga berkurang juga daya tahan dalam tubuh. Kebanyakan lansia sering timbul masalah penyakit degenerative seperti hipertensi. Hal ini disebabkan adanya gangguan pembuluh darah perifer serta menurunnya pembuluh darah yang menyebabkan meningkatnya tekanan darah. Hipertensi lebih sering ditemui pada lansia dimana pada usianya terjadi perubahan-perubahan fisiologis maupun psikologis, yang beresiko untuk kesehatanya. Perubahan psikologis yang terjadi salah satunya adalah cemas, kecemasan akan komplikasi dari hipertensi dapat berdampak pada kualitas hidup lansia penderita hipertensi. Semakin rendahnya tingkat kecemasan pada lansia maka akan semakin baik juga kualitas hidupnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecemasan dengan kualitas hidup lansia penderita hipertensi Di Desa Luwang, wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gatak. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain korelasional. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dengan Teknik Total Sampling sebanyak 37 lansia penderita hipertensi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dari 37 responden sebanyak 4 orang memiliki kualitas hidup baik disebabkan oleh kecemasan ringan, dan 28 orang disebabkan kecemasan sedang. Hasil dari tabulasi silang yaitu terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan dengan kualitas hidup lansia penderita hipertensi di Desa Luwang wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gatak dengan nilai Uji Pearson Chi Square diperoleh hasil .000 dimana nilai tersebut <0.05. Hal ini  dapat  diartikan kecemasan dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup orang lanjut usia dengan hipertensi. Semakin berat tingkat kecemasan, semakin buruk kualitas hidup lansia dan sebaliknya. Kata Kunci: Lansia, Hipertensi, Tingkat Kecemasan, Kualitas Hidup
