Global optimization with expensive functions - Sample turbomachinery design application

Abstract

This contribution presents some of the tools developed at Cenaero to tackle industrial multidisciplinary designs. Cenaero's in-house optimization platform, Minamo implements mono- and multi-objective variants of Evolutionary Algorithms strongly accelerated by efficient coupling with surrogate models. The performance of Minamo will be demonstrated on a turbomachinery design application. © 2010 Springer -Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
