PENGARUH HUKUMAN (PUNISHMENT) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS DI MTS NAHDLATUL ARIFIN SUMBEREJO AMBULU

Abstract

The application of punishment (punishment) at MTs Nahdlatul Arifin is still the main reference for controlling student attitudes at school. This has a lot of influence on the students themselves and can even affect student learning outcomes, especially in social studies subjects. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type or design of research ex post facto (from after the fact). The population in this study were students at MTs Nahdlatul Arifin Sumberejo Ambulu. In the sampling using the formula of Issaq and Michel. Meanwhile, the data collection method used a questionnaire, observation, documentation and legger of students' PAT scores. The data obtained were then carried out descriptive tests and statistical tests using "T test" and "F test". The result of the research is that the data obtained by Fcount < F table is 2.064 < 3.92 and Tcount < T table is -1.437 < 1.658, it means Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. With these calculations, it can be concluded that punishment does not affect student learning outcomes in social studies subjects at MTs Nahdlatul Arifin Sumberejo Ambulu. ABSTRAKPenerapan hukuman (punishment) di MTs Nahdlatul Arifin masih menjadi acuan utama untuk pengendalian sikap siswa di sekolah. Hal ini memeliki banyak pengaruh kepada diri siswa itu sendiri bahkan dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa terkhusus pada mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis atau desain penelitian ex post facto (dari setelah fakta). Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni siswa di MTs Nahdlatul Arifin Sumberejo Ambulu. Dalam pengambil sampel menggunakan rumus dari Issaq dan Michel. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan angket, observasi, dokumentasi dan legger nilai PAT siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dilakukan uji deskripstif dan uji statistik menggunakan “uji T” dan “Uji F”. Hasil penelitiannya adalah bahwa data yang diperoleh Fhitung < Ftabel yaitu 2,064 < 3,92 dan Thitung < Ttabel yaitu -1,437<1,658 maka artinya Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dengan perhitungan tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa hukuman (punishment) tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di MTs Nahdlatul Arifin Sumberejo Ambulu.
