In all groups following FFA + ION-S, the right vibrissae dropped immediately and acquired a caudal orientation. At 10–14 days after FFA + ION-S, the vibrissae of all operated animals (groups 1–4) “rose” to the level of the mouth and acquired a posterior orientation.
