The modem world-wide (so-called global) economy has a deep influence onthe way people and companies think and behave, in such way as tostreamline the whole development and manufacturing process, now with adistributed, flexible and integrated structure. Collaborative softwareis changing the way companies do business. Applications that facilitatecommunication early in the design cycle and throughout the manufacturingprocess save manufacturers time and money.
