Abstract

Fall, a serious health problem with devastating consequences, is often an ignored entity in older adults. For a lonely elderly couple, physical fall is actually the prelude to endless agony. There are varied causes of fall that may vary from indigenous disease starting from Parkinsonism and syncope to environmental risk factors. In the present scenario, fall assessment and management in the older adults is not adequately addressed towards the cause.
