EDUKASI PERILAKU PENCEGAHAN PERILAKU BERISIKO MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY PADA PENDERITA HIV/ AIDS

Abstract

Patients with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) / AIDS continue to increase from year to year. This increase is influenced by the continued increase in new HIV patients detected. This is in line with the sexual behavior of many HIV/AIDS sufferers who are still unhealthy. The sexual behavior is in the form of anal, oral, and same-sex activities. If this behavior is not controlled properly, it will increase the risk of new HIV/AIDS sufferers. This service focuses on efforts to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS through health promotion activities and cognitive therapy. The method of service is in the form of counseling and discussion through WhatsApp social media. During the activity, participants can follow well, easy to understand and engage in discussion. The results of the knowledge measurement showed that there was an increase in knowledge before (mean = 73) and after (mean = 90).   Keywords: Health education, HIV/ AIDS treatment
