Abstract

This chapter introduces multitudinous source high-voltage-gain DC-DC converters for combining renewable in-exhaustive sources. The proposed converters are synthesized using two different voltage multiplier structures, and their performance is compared. The attractive potentialities of the proposed converter are high gain, low voltage stress on switches, fewer number of components, and economical. It can perform with one input or more inputs depending on the demand and more suitable for an interface between the multitudinous source and grid. This modular structure is extendable with better gain and minimal component stress. Detailed analysis of the converters, comparison, and simulation results are presented.
