Simulation research on effect of coach top-window opening on internal and external flow

Abstract

For three limit conditions of the top-window mode of the coach: All three top-windows are closed, all windward opened and all leeward opened, the numerical simulation is done, and the results of all the three different conditions that we get show the preliminary data of the internal and external flow for the coach, and the results are analyzed. Finally the effect of different ways of top-windows opening on the internal and external flow of the coach is discussed. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
