Abstract

The goal of this paper is to present an interactive content management system for generating content of a digital library. The idea is to use interaction and data visualization techniques in the process of content generation, to check, understand and modify available information. We show the importance of interacting with data during the process of library creation and how this can lead to better quality of data. We present browsing functionalities for exploring relations within data that are used in the Human Sanctuary project. The set of developed tools can easily be extended and used for generating content in any other digital library project. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
