Abstract

This paper discusses how gender operates as an organizing element of both teachers' subjectivities and student's achievement in times of inclusion and neoliberal governmentality. We have used governmentality, subjectivity and gender as theoretical-methodological tools to examine how some governing practices are involved in both the production of gender differences regarding student achievement and the constitution of inclusive teachers' subjectivities. Two researches have provided subsidies to support this argumentation: one that aims at knowing how teachers are subjectivated by inclusion practices and another that investigates how gender crosses and constitutes the teachers' practice.
