Abstract

This paper presents evaluation strategies for MOOC – Massive Open Online Course – with emphasis on Perspective-based Evaluation. With a qualitative approach and applied nature, an overview is presented of the evolution of the interface evaluation with the description of fundamental concepts for understanding the area. To demonstrate the operation of the Perspective-based Evaluation, an extension course in the MOOC modality, with a 30-hour workload from the Bahia State University (UNEB), was selected. The results pointed out problems present in the MOOC, highlighting the perspective of the designer as the one that most perceived problems that can contribute to the evasion of course participants, one of the main obstacles in this type of course, concluding with the need to insert the evaluation stage for the development from MOOC.
