Abstract

By examining 105 3D printing service providers in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, and Luxemburg, this chapter clarifies and classifies the range of 3D printing services currently available. Based on the classification identified, 3D printing service provision business models are identified and discussed in terms of how they are operationalised, emphasising the key connections that shape service providers’ supply chains.
