Abstract

The article discusses the use and importance of podcasting in library activities. Podcasting presents the familiarity and portability of electronic media information. Podcast are audio broadcast, sometimes includes video contents, downloaded into different podcasting devices and topics covered are in wide varieties. Application of podcasting in libraries enhance the learning experience of students in universities and colleges. Reports shows that 50 percent of Americans that has an iPod or MP3, have downloaded a podcast.
