Abstract

Up to this point, this book has been concerned with static natural images. However, in natural environments the scene changes over time. In addition, the observer may move, or the observer may move its eyes. Temporal sequences of natural images, temporal properties of the visual system, and temporal models of processing are the topics of this chapter.
