Abstract

This work describes the incorporation of human strategies into a genetic algorithm. Human competence and machine intelligence are merged, creating a divide and evolve approach. The approach is applied to the restoration problem of Rubik's Cube and successfully solves this task. © 2010 Springer-Verlag.
