Abstract

"This book is based on a workshop which was held at the Strathclyde Graduate Business School in the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, on 15 and 16 May, 1998"--Preface. This book explores and analyzes the effects of the globalization strategies of multinational enterprises (MNEs) on national and local development and highlights the implications of these effects for policy makers.
