Abstract

This paper compares a new Immunocomputing (IC) approach with Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). We compare an IC algorithm of pattern recognition with Error Back Propagation (EBP) network. The comparison includes two real-life tasks of environmental monitoring and laser physics. © Springer-Verlag 2004.
