Abstract

Many computations on sparse matrices have a phasethat predicts the nonzero structure of the output,followed by a phase that actually performs thenumerical computation. We study structure predictionfor computations that involve nonsymmetric row andcolumn permutations and nonsymmetric or non-squarematrices.
