Abstract

The tunnel under the Pannerdensch Cana l (The Netherlands) has two strongly differing cross connections. In this article the design of the freezing bodies, the strutting systems and the definitive structures are explai ned. The execution process is given, as well as the monitoring results. Finally some conc lusions and recommendations for future similar projects are formulated.
