Abstract

Resumo Este artigo apresenta um estudo de caso sobre o uso de metodologias participativas como instrumento de diagnóstico da violação ao direito à água e acesso à justiça de mulheres atingidas no caso do rompimento da barragem que contaminou a bacia do rio Doce em 2015. O diagnóstico foi elaborado a partir da articulação entre as mulheres atingidas, o Movimento de Atingidos por Barragens (MAB) e a Defensoria Pública do Espírito Santo.Abstract This article presents a case study on the use of participatory methodologies as an instrument to diagnose violations of the right to water and access to justice of affected women in the case of the dam breakage that contaminated the Doce River basin in 2015. The diagnosis was based on the dialogue among affected women, the Movement of People Affected by Dams (MAB), and the Public Defender’s Office of the Espirito Santo State.
