Abstract

According to the large overshoot and high static error of traditional Direct Current (DC) bus voltage control, DC bus system model of active power filter (APF) was built on the basis of analyzing APF DC bus voltage control theory, and a new DC bus voltage control method based on combination of Proportion Integration (PI) control and fuzzy control was proposed; then an experimental prototype was built. Simulation and experimental results indicate that the method has features of fast response, small overshoot, and small static error. All the features above prove that the method is effective and feasible. © 2014 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
