Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To assess the effects (risks and benefits) of timing of antibiotic administration, and of timing and staging of surgical interventions, in the management of people with open long bone fractures of the upper and lower limbs.
