Quadriceps-sparing total knee arthroplasty

Abstract

Quadriceps sparing total knee arthroplasty is one of the minimally invasive approaches for knee replacement. The operative technique is somewhat demanding and requires slight modification of the standard instruments. The clinical results do show a more rapid early recovery with less associated pain.
