The glory of maritime in Indonesia requires well-qualified human resources (HR) in their characters so that they can manage various potentially abundant marine resources for the welfare of the nation. The facts show that superior and creative human resources are assets in advancing the maritime world in Indonesia. Currently, information technology also plays a role as a supporter of human resources in carrying out socio-cultural transformation in maritime communities. The existence of communication information technology can open the isolation of coastal areas to maritime production technology, facilities, and infrastructure to increase maritime glory. This study aims to examine the development of human resources, especially Maritime HR, and its supporting technology to build maritime glory in Indonesia. The writing method used is a literature study with the results of the study that Indonesia is capable of becoming a "victorious" country in the maritime field. Various changes can be missed starting from the competitive environment caused by changes in the world economy, market globalization, technological evolution, and global corporate trends for horizontal and vertical integration. These changes have also affected sea transportation and especially ports as a link that connects land and sea transportation. Based on the literature study in this research, it is hoped that partnerships will be established between universities, local and central governments, and the business world to be able to work together to increase efficiency and effectiveness in sustainably utilizing marine resources. Universities assist in transferring technology and improving the quality of maritime resources so that in addition to the products produced with high added value, they can also support sustainable development as the basis for maritime glory, especially in Indonesia.
