Abstract

The article presents the results of kinetic studies of polymerization of monomer salts forming at interaction of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate with a number of esters of chloroacetic acid and also shows the course of spontaneous polymerization in the environment of organic solvents simultaneously by formation of ammonium salt. It was found out that the reaction of quaternization and further spontaneous polymerization take place both in the presence of the solvent and in the mixture of initial components.
