Abstract

The last decade has seen a large amount of algorithmic work analyzing wireless networks. In this paper we focus on some of the main lessons learned when studying the physical (SINR) wireless model, with a focus on link scheduling, without or with power control. We summarize the results in this domain, present simplified versions of some key results, and outline future directions along with major open questions.
