Abstract

Domain-specific languages with a formal static semantics allow the early discovery of (domain-specific) inconsistencies. Using attribute grammars we show how such inconsistencies can be found in the pump domain. We compare some analyses using attribute grammars with analyses done in OCL w.r.t. performance and the quality of error messages.
