Abstract

A new shunt reactive power compensator, CSCT, is presented and introduced in this paper. Mathematical analysis of harmonic content of the current of CSCT is performed and use of a winding with additional circuit has been presented as a solution to suppress these harmonics. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
