Abstract

Standard radiographs still represent the basis of spinal imaging. They can be obtained with a number of techniques: Conventional film/screen combination is an analogue technique which is still widely used in small hospitals and practitioners' offices. Most radiology institutions, however, use digital systems, i.e., computed radiology (CR) systems or digital radiography (DR) systems © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
