Abstract

This paper reports a trial of evacuation simulation for examining space design and evacuation strategy in an underground shopping street in downtown Nagoya in the case of electric lighting blackout. We evaluated the evacuation performance of the models of two different space based on the actual measurement survey of there through simulation using a floor field approach, which has both high operability and can be expected to save calculation volume, and to compare two results. Moreover, we employ 3D space expression intelligible for many stakeholders through each process of the simulations.
