Abstract

Charaña's Embrace represented one of the best possibilities of access to the sea for Bolivia to the largo of its diplomatic history. Nevertheless, a series of edges obstructed the process and provoked that its final result was not favorable for the political pretensions of the rate of the moment. In spite of bilateral break unleashed at the end of the seventies, a new actor was positioned in this political pendulum and that extended its relations to the margin of the political atmosphere. The economic paradiplomacy reached an excellent development, but with some oscillations in this matter.
