Abstract

FIDJI is an open-domain question-answering system for French. The main goal is to validate answers by checking that all the information given in the question is retrieved in the supporting texts. This paper presents FIDJI's results at ResPubliQA 2009, as well as additional experiments bringing to light the role of linguistic modules in this particular campaign. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
