Abstract

Increasing software intelligence is a hot issue in the research field today. When seen in this light, the fascinating challenge posed by the integration of RPA with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in many domains of application, such as the execution of unstructured versus organized activities, becomes clear. RPA might benefit from using artificial intelligence (AI) or ideas like Machine Learning and Data Mining so that it does not have to depend only on rule-based approaches. There is a perception that RPA was created to help businesses save money on labour expenditures associated with routine work. To ensure that the expense of implementing and maintaining RPA is offset by the savings it yields, it would be useful to analyse how RPA use impacts other aspects of a company's R&D, development, competency, etc. The authors provide some concluding remarks on various RPA applications in this chapter.
