Abstract

Until now, metabolomics researchers have had to adapt technology developed mainly for proteomics. But there are now solutions designed with them in mind. Nathan Blow reports. As 'omics' go, the newish one of metabolomics got off to a flying start, producing useful information from the first. Nathan Blow describes the technologies being developed to support metabolomics, and includes an update from Davis, California, on work on the grape vine metabolome.
