Abstract

Over 140 polyfluorinated nitroxides, mostly new, have been generated by sane novel reactions. Many of them are initiated by electron-transfer processes. Mechanistic aspects of these reactions are discussed. ESR spectra of these nitroxides, including the temperature dependence of some aN and aF values, and of selective line broadening, have been investigated. Substituent effects on the aN and aF values of some nitroxides have been discussed. © 1990 De Gruyter
