Abstract

Skeletonization is a way to reduce dimensionality of digital objects and is of interest in a number of tasks for image analysis. In this paper, efficient approaches to skeletonization of 2D and 3D digital objects are illustrated. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2006.
