Persuasion by Narration: Outline of an Interdisciplinary Field of Research

Abstract

The relationship between narration and persuasion has not yet been systematically addressed within scholarship on rhetoric. This article provides an overview of research in communication sciences, psychology, American rhetorical studies and linguistics on the topic of persuasion and narration.
