Abstract

Data mining is the extraction of useful information from complex data sets. The data can be complex in terms of its variety, volume and values. Video mining is becoming quite popular nowadays. Video is a combination of several types of data such as audio, video and text data. Mining video requires tremendous efforts. Starting from shooting the video, editing it and posting it in optimized form is itself a big process. And mining data from these videos involves a lot of processing. This paper provides review of various data mining techniques used in the mining of a video. In this analysis, we also describe some methods to improve the performance of video mining by using data mining techniques.
