Abstract

This paper presents a software architecture for modeling Interface Agents that is based on the BDI (Believes, Desires, Intentions) approach. This architecture is supported with a methodology that guides the designer to build a complex interface agent. This work has been applied to a fully operative implementation in the EURESCOM P815 project framework. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2000.
